Convergint Technologies, a worldwide leader in service-based systems integration, joined Partnership Gwinnett and the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce to announce the expansion of its operations in Gwinnett County, metro Atlanta, GA. The announcement represents 150 existing jobs, a projected 33% increase in new jobs in the coming years, and $1 million in capital investment for the community.
Convergint’s 25,000-square-foot facility, located at 1955 Evergreen Boulevard, will house the company’s expert team of customer-centric employees who bring strong integration capabilities for security, fire and life safety and building automation systems. The new location provides ease of access to Convergint’s many customers across metro Atlanta and the state of Georgia and connects Convergint to a pool of new talent for recruitment as it continues to grow.
“Convergint Technologies has a history of consistent growth due to our steadfast commitment to being our customer’s best service provider, and this expansion reinforces our position as a leading systems integrator in the Atlanta and southeast regions,” said Tim Beasley, Vice President and General Manager for Convergint Technologies. “This expansion will also enable us to recruit, hire and develop the colleagues needed to support our projected growth and bring further investment and new competencies to the local area, thereby contributing to economic prosperity here in Gwinnett County.”
Convergint’s Atlanta and southeastern teams have more than tripled their annual revenue in the past five years. The company expects to grow an additional 15% per year which will include the addition of 50 employees in the next few years.
“Gwinnett County is the ideal location for businesses, like Convergint, who are looking to expand in the Southeast,” said Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners Chair, Charlotte Nash. “This expansion is a testament to our dynamic workforce, pro-business climate and innovation opportunities.
