(GWINNETT- METRO ATLANTA) March 3, 2016 — Partnership Gwinnett in conjunction with Gwinnett Technical College has announced the finalists for its 2016 Movers & Makers Awards. The Awards ceremony, presented by Jackson EMC, in collaboration with Partnership Gwinnett and Gwinnett Technical College, is the County’s recognition of exceptional companies involved in the manufacturing, processing, or distribution of tangible products.

The Movers & Makers Awards ceremony, to be held March 17 at the Infinite Energy Forum in Duluth, Ga., is Georgia’s largest local awards event for manufacturing and supply chain companies. The annual event is expected to draw more than 300 local industry and business leaders.

The 2016 Finalists are: AES Clean Technology, Cardinal Technical Training, Essendant, Heatcraft Worldwide Refrigeration, Hisco Inc., Hussmann, Kraiburg TPE, Mitsubishi Electric, Performance Trucking, Rocket IT, Target Metal Systems, Taylor & Mathis, and WAM USA.

Finalists were selected based upon criteria involving economic impact in the community, corporate responsibility, and workforce excellence programs. Winners will be named in three manufacturing and two supply chain categories, as well as a Most Valuable Provider category. All manufacturer finalists will be considered for the Georgia Manufacturer of the Year Award.

Winners will be announced at the Awards ceremony.
