2023 Partnership Gwinnett Annual Report

Dear investors and partners, As we resumed pre-pandemic operations, we began implementing our fourth five-year community and economic development strategy focused on three goals — business, talent, and community development — in five competitive and emerging industries. Driving Business We led and managed business development, attracting, retaining, and expanding quality businesses. We shared six company announcements and attained more than $149 million capital investment, 26 company relocations and expansions, and 3,800 new jobs. We received the Georgia Economic Developers Association Large Community Deal of the Year Award and hosted our first State of Technology Summit. Driving Talent We convened and catalyzed talent development, aligning and developing diverse talent. We fulfilled more than 35 company visits and 25 external partnerships. We established our Talent Council and Manufacturing Workforce Forum, as well as hosted our first The Intern Mix. Driving Community We encouraged and supported community development, contributing to exceptional quality of life. We shared resources and promoted opportunities, such as the Gwinnett Place Mall Equitable Redevelopment Plan. We established our Redevelopment Council and hosted our annual Redevelopment Peer Tour in Greenville, South Carolina. Driving the Future Over the next four years, we look forward to fulfilling our strategy, including leading a European Mission Trip, hosting our first Georgia Ports Tour, reengaging and restructuring our Entrepreneurship Council, helping develop Rowen, and creating talent and developer campaigns.
