Global Business Connections Strengthen with Gwinnett Visit to MAGI Headquarters in Italy

(Gwinnett County, Ga., October 22, 2025) –– Partnership Gwinnett and the Gwinnett Chamber strengthened international business ties this week with a visit to MAGI Group’s global headquarters in northern Italy. The visit was part of the Gwinnett Chamber’s EMBARK trip which brings local business leaders together for cultural immersion and a shared travel experience abroad. While in Italy, the delegation met with MAGI Group leadership at their headquarters in San Felice del Benaco.

MAGI Group established its U.S. operations in Gwinnett County in 2023, through the startup MAGISNAT, which was celebrated by Partnership Gwinnett as part of its business recruitment and expansion strategy. The company focuses on omics sciences, personalized nutrition, and health research, representing the type of global innovation Partnership Gwinnett seeks to attract and retain in the community.

During the meeting, MAGI Group leaders reaffirmed their commitment to their U.S. presence. As shared in the New Edge Times, Dr. Bertelli CEO of MAGI Group said, “This exchange reflects a shared commitment to advancing knowledge and promoting collaboration across communities.”

“Our collaboration with MAGI Group demonstrates how international relationships translate into local opportunity,” said Nick Masino, President and CEO of the Gwinnett Chamber and Partnership Gwinnett. “Through Partnership Gwinnett’s business retention and expansion strategy, we continue to strengthen the connections that help global companies succeed in Gwinnett.”

The visit highlights the strategic role of Partnership Gwinnett’s international business efforts, which aim to support both new investment and existing company expansion. The organization’s approach centers on creating strong relationships with global partners to drive sustained economic prosperity at home.

As a next step in this work, Partnership Gwinnett will host a Workforce Summit on October 23, 2025, bringing together industry and education leaders to address workforce development and talent attraction strategies for existing industry, including international companies operating in Gwinnett.
