Community Improvement Districts

In Gwinnett, We Innovate

One of the many unique things about Gwinnett County is how we’ve revitalized sections of the county through our Community Improvement Districts to make it a more attractive place for residents to work, live, and play.

Braselton CID

Wouldn’t it be nice to live in a community where you don’t need to use your card every day but instead could run, walk, or zip around in a golf cart? Well, that’s exactly what Braselton Life Path did for its residents! This CID invested in urban connectivity that connects residential, retail, and office space with alternative modes of transportation along a 10-foot-wide concrete pathway.

From attracting diverse restaurants to hosting unique family-friendly events, Braselton CID is hopping with activity at any given moment!

Evermore CID

Evermore CID, known as the Southern Gateway to Gwinnett, has spent more than 17 years prioritizing transportation and community character improvements which resulted in new development and reinvestment across the district. Evermore CID works to establish a vibrant, upscale destination area, improve business development opportunities, and enhance property values.

Gateway85 CID

Gateway85 Community Improvement District (CID) is one of Georgia’s largest CIDs, spanning 14 square miles, serving the I-85 corridor in Gwinnett County for two decades. The CID supports 3,000+ businesses and nearly 47,000 employees with an annual economic impact of $16.6 billion annually. Gateway85 is led by commercial property owners who self-fund and invest millions of local dollars annually to deliver visible, measurable improvements that make the district safer, cleaner, brighter and easier to navigate. Through strategic investments in public safety technology, mobility and infrastructure, and corridor beautification, Gateway85 works closely with local law enforcement and has delivered more than 20 miles of sidewalk and pedestrian improvements helping create a safer, more connected and attractive district for businesses, employees and visitors.

Gwinnett Place CID

Gwinnett Place CID’s mission is to develop Gwinnett’s central business district as a hub for economic and employment activity. Their vision to be recognized as a flourishing center for internationally diverse, livable community, helps them lead efforts to expedite mobility, quality of life, and economic improvement strategies for the benefit of businesses, employees and visitors.

Lilburn CID

The Lilburn CID is committed to creating a Greater Lilburn that allows family and business to prosper. They serve as an active catalyst to improve all local perceptions of attitude and appearance, as well as business opportunity in the Highway 29 corridor and surrounding areas.

Sugarloaf CID
