This position works with the VP of Economic Development to execute Partnership Gwinnett’s research strategies.Job Responsibilities:
- Find and analyze unique data that differentiates Gwinnett for marketing initiatives including the Partnership Gwinnett website, presentations, social media, annual report, projects and RFIs.
- Provide data and prepare monthly and quarterly reports for the economic development team.
- Track Partnership Gwinnett’s KPIs and community indicators.
- Work closely with Research Interns to ensure effective execution of research requests.
- Help maintain and manage all Partnership Gwinnett databases.
- Manage the Research Credit program and provide relevant and timely data to Partnership Gwinnett’s top investors and key stakeholders.
- Develop positive working relationship with community partners including the research teams at the Georgia Department of Economic Development, regional partners and with the research teams that operate within each utility economic development office.
- Provide assistance for redevelopment programs and initiatives including but not limited to the Redevelopment Council, Metro Atlanta Redevelopment Summit, and Peer Tour.
- Assist with the tracking and reporting phases of Georgia Regional Economic Business Assistance grants.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Access
- Working knowledge of analytical and statistical tools to analyze and interpret data
- Must be a strategic thinker with strong organizational and analytical skills
- Must be flexible regarding job responsibilities and ability to work as a team
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to multi-task and deliver on tight deadlines
- Ability to design and execute multiple work demands
- Excellent written, grammatical, and oral communication skills

In this role, you will be the point-of-contact for Partnership Gwinnett’s manufacturing and supply chain community. You will work to recruit new companies as well as retain existing companies through engagement opportunities, sharing resources, solving problems and acting as a liaison between local and state government. You will work projects as companies decide to locate themselves in Gwinnett – bringing necessary partners together to mitigate any roadblocks and ensure Gwinnett remains a business-friendly location to operate. Education Required

The Manager, Workforce Solutions will lead the implementation of our Talent Development strategy. With a focus on our five target sectors, they support local workforce development efforts and advance solutions that solve workforce challenges for Gwinnett businesses through connectivity, communication, and collaboration. In addition, the Manager, Workforce Solutions partners with the business development team to provide support on recruitment and retention projects by connecting Gwinnett County businesses to local, State, and Federal workforce partners. Their work will be centered around four strategic priorities:- Maintain a talent council to continue aligning education and training offerings to business needs and create a lifelong learning experience for people of all ages
- Continue convening K-20 educational institutions and target sector businesses to ensure alignment and identify opportunities for these communities to support their respective success
- Strengthen workforce-related resources, including data and training, provided to local businesses
- Establish a talent retention, return, and attraction campaign that highlights career and living opportunities in Gwinnett County and helps grow the skilled working-age population
Day-to-day duties:
- Lead and implement Partnership Gwinnett’s talent development strategy with the guiding principles of inclusion, innovation, and collaboration
- Provide support to recruitment and retention projects by leveraging programs that link new and existing Gwinnett County businesses with the local, state, and federal workforce ecosystems
- Develop and maintain relationships with key workforce development intermediaries, organizations, partnerships, and taskforces, and committees within Gwinnett County and the Metro Atlanta region
- Develop and maintain strong working knowledge, and relationships with, Gwinnett County businesses and industries
- Create, cultivate, and steward cross-sector business education partnerships that fill knowledge and connectivity gaps in the community and improve alignment and collaboration with a focus on talent attraction, training, and development
- Implement and maintain sector-based employer collaboratives to connect business leaders, identify employer needs, high-demand industries, and skills, to initiate programs that connect talent from education/training partners with employers
- Define, update, and track appropriate benchmarks and key performance indicators to ensure that goals and objectives are met and prepare regular updates on progress-to-goals to be used for the quarterly report card, investor meetings, and annual report
- Identify, engage, and enlist organizations that develop and support diverse talent pipelines and integrate them into Gwinnett’s workforce ecosystem to increase equity and inclusion
- Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to create a strategy for content and execution of communications that, promote, and disseminate workforce-related data, updates, tools, resources, and workforce initiatives
- Define and communicate qualitative and quantitative workforce-related research and data to be distributed to businesses and workforce partners on a periodic basis via roundtables, quarterly forums, websites, newsletters, social media, etc.
- Collaborate with the leadership, marketing and communications, and business development teams and other stakeholders to implement a talent attraction, retention, and return website and marketing campaign
- Plan and execute programing for business community and workforce partners
- Perform related duties as assigned
Must have’s:
- Strong knowledge and experience with secondary and post-secondary educational institutions
- Comprehensive knowledge of sales/marketing/communication strategies and tactics
- Strong software skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, internet research and sales/contact management programs
