New and Expanding Businesses Welcomed at Gwinnett New Company Reception

(GWINNETT-METRO ATLANTA) January 28, 2020 – Partnership Gwinnett welcomed Gwinnett County’s newly relocated and expanded businesses at the annual New Company Reception Thursday evening. The event is designed to honor and recognize the companies for their growth, success and investment in the community. The reception was attended by public and private Partnership Gwinnett investors, as well as representatives from the new and expanding Gwinnett businesses.

“We look forward to the New Company Reception every year,” said Gwinnett County Commission Chair Charlotte Nash. “This one of a kind event provides the opportunity for Gwinnett’s newest businesses to get engaged in the community and establish strong partnerships.”

The New Company Reception, which took place at TPC Sugarloaf, included representatives from CarMax, Crawford & Company, OFS, Willis Mechanical and many more. The reception provided the new companies a platform to share the key factors behind their expansion or relocation to Gwinnett, as well as the opportunity to meet both public and private partners of Partnership Gwinnett.

“We were eager to attend this event and make new connections in the community,” said Rob Visintainer, COO at Eclipse Gaming. “Gwinnett provides the ideal location and talent that our company needs to thrive, and we’re excited about our expansion and continued growth here.”

Several non-profit organizations were also in attendance to welcome Gwinnett’s newest companies; representatives from the Northeast Georgia Community Foundation, Gwinnett County Public Schools Foundation, Georgia Commute Options and more had the opportunity to establish relationships with the new companies.

“Gwinnett continues to be a strong draw for industry leaders who are looking to grow and expand,” said Andrew Carnes, Vice President of Economic Development at Partnership Gwinnett. “This event gives us the opportunity to thank our partners and investors, as well as welcome Gwinnett’s newest businesses into the community.”
