Partnership Gwinnett Earns Silver Excellence in Economic Development Award from IEDC

(Gwinnett County, GA., August 21, 2025) –– Partnership Gwinnett, a public-private initiative dedicated to bringing new jobs and capital investment to Gwinnett, has received a Silver Excellence in Economic Development Award from the International Economic Development Council (IEDC). The award honors Partnership Gwinnett’s website, launched in November 2024, for its innovative design, community impact, and role in advancing economic development.

The IEDC Excellence Awards celebrate the best economic development programs and partnerships in the world, recognizing organizations that exemplify leadership, creativity, and measurable results in their communities.

Since its launch, the website has become a central hub for businesses, site selectors, and community stakeholders, offering:

  • Investor and business engagement tools that connect stakeholders with opportunities to collaborate and grow.

By effectively showcasing the county’s business opportunities, the website plays a key role in supporting the initiative’s overall results. In 2024 alone, more than 1,600 new jobs were created, and over $275 million in capital investment was announced. These measurable outcomes reflect the ongoing success of Partnership Gwinnett’s mission to attract, retain, and expand businesses.
