(Gwinnett County, Ga., December 11, 2025) — The fourth Annual State of Technology Summit convened business, education, and community leaders to examine how technology is shaping the future of the metro Atlanta area. Presented by Amazon and hosted by Partnership Gwinnett, this event showcased innovative technology and partnerships driving tech sectors and innovation centers in the metro Atlanta area.
This year’s program featured an overview of the Living Labs project in partnership with Rowen, Bizztech and Jakarto’s Digital Twins Pilot with Curiosity Lab of Peachtree Corners, the Kamstrup project with The Water Tower, and several panel discussions highlighting innovation and technology in the school systems, healthcare services, and life sciences. The industry dialogue with representatives from Geotab, TeamSpring, and Google focused on automation and artificial intelligence implementation and its impact on organizational culture.
“Technology is one of our top five target sectors for a reason,” said Kevin Carmichael, Senior Vice President of Economic Development for Partnership Gwinnett. “The speed of technology to market and innovation drives business growth, talent development and workforce retention, and strong communities. Today’s summit helps us connect those dots—showcasing why recruiting, retaining, and expanding tech companies is essential to Gwinnett’s future and to the work we lead every day.”
The event included recognition for key players in the 29-county MSA (metropolitan statistical area) who are driving innovative technology. 2025 State of Technology Summit award recipients included:
- Innovation Award Winner: This Dot Labs
