About this role:
In this role, you will be the point-of-contact for Partnership Gwinnett’s manufacturing and supply chain community. You will work to recruit new companies as well as retain existing companies through engagement opportunities, sharing resources, solving problems and acting as a liaison between local and state government. You will work projects as companies decide to locate themselves in Gwinnett – bringing necessary partners together to mitigate any roadblocks and ensure Gwinnett remains a business-friendly location to operate. You will be responsible for planning and implementing a variety of programs/events to increase community engagement. You will work with an amazing and supportive team of professionals.
Day-to-day duties:
- Manage economic development projects and activities – coordinate with partners; monitor progress and communicate between and among all parties and partners
- Visit with existing companies to develop and build relationships and provide necessary economic development support
- Coordinate and work with community partners to support the implementation of goals
- Manage program activity within the manufacturing and supply chain community
- Develop and build relationships with economic development partners including real estate professionals, local, state and regional economic developers, and utility partners
- Perform related duties as assigned

Education Required
A bachelor’s degree with major course work in economics, marketing, business administration, community development, communications, or related field is required. Knowledge of the community is a plus. Three years of related experience is preferred.
